Herbert "Butch" Rosenbaum died December 16, 2015 in Houston.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21 at Haynie Flat Cemetery in Bee Cave, TX.
Butch was born in Brenham, Texas to Herbert Henry Rosenbaum and Ester Alma Schroeder. Upon completing school, Butch served in the US Navy during Vietnam aboard the battleship USS New Jersey. After returning home he met and married Beverly Ann Lamb who was attending school at Blinn College. He enjoyed a 35 year long career in the trucking industry and raised his family near Spicewood, TX before retiring back in his hometown of Brenham. Butch was a fan of NASCAR and football and could be found each weekend watching his Texas Longhorns or Dallas Cowboys. Butch had a quick wit and was always able to find humor in any situation. His laughter and love will be missed by his family and his dog Sugar, which could be found on his lap during most of a given day.
Butch was preceded in death by his brothers Bill and Larry Rosenbaum. He is survived by his wife Beverly Ann Rosenbaum of 44 years, his three sisters Mable Collins, Shirley Bosse, and Cheryl Hoermann, his brothers-in-law Bill Lamb and wife Sandra and Don Lamb and wife Margaret, his sons Bert and wife Diana, Brian and wife Lindsay, his four grandchildren Troy, Kimberly, Maegan and Colt , as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
