Herman Fields, Sr.

Loyd Fields, Sr., 82, of Chappell Hill, TX, went home to be with the Lord on July 4,
2016. The Burial will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Masonic
Cemetery in Chappell Hill, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist
Church Chappell Hill with Pastor David Beckworth officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Loyd was born on July 7, 1933 in Atlanta, GA. to Albert Herman and Annie Lois Howard
Fields. On June 12, 1955, he was married to Ellen Faye Sentell. He was a member of First Baptist Church Chappell Hill, where he served as a deacon. Loyd loved traveling, hiking, photography, and gardening. He loved to attend his grandchildren's various activities. Loyd was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from Gulf Oil/Chevron.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Fields, of Chappell Hill; daughter and son-in-law:
Angela and Tony Burlingame of Richmond, TX; son and daughter-in-law: Loyd
"Skip" Fields Jr. and wife Jeanette of Hutto, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law:
Bobby and Dot Fields of Jefferson, GA., and Doug and Lucy Fields of Fayetteville, GA. Also surviving are grandchildren Kristin Burlingame Pitzer and spouse, Phillip, Blake Burlingame, Megan Burlingame, Alyson Fields, Kayla Fields, and Lauren Fields, as well as numerous cousins.

Loyd was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lois Fields; brother, Raymond
Fields and wife, Pat Fields, and brother, Billy Fields.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to First Baptist Church Chappell Hill Parking
