Hilmer Clarence Schmidt, 85, of Brenham, widower of Nelda Faye Schmidt, died May 26, 2010. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Darrin Donaldson will officiate. Interment will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday, June 1 from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. A complete obituary will follow later.
