Honorio Montes

Honorio Montes, 55, husband of Rufina Montes, died December 18, 2010. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary s Catholic Church, with Father David Ivey officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Honorio was born September 30, 1955 in Arroyo Ceco, Anyuthla, Queretaro, Mexico to Leonardo and Clementa Reyes Montes. On April 4, 1986, he was married to Rufina Orozco. Honorio was employed by Blinn College as a groundskeeper. Honorio Montes was loved dearly by those he left behind. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on his flower bed and caring for his animals. Daddy, we miss you and we love you. May you rest in peace. Survivors include a son, Ricardo Montes, and a daughter Gloria Montes, both of Burton; brothers Francisco Montes and Ricardo Montes of Arroyo Ceco, Ayutla, and Alfonso Montes of Brenham; sisters Cidronia Montes, Petra Montes, and Consesion Montes, all of Arroyo Ceco, Ayutla. Serving as pallbearers are Ricardo Montes, Santiago Diaz, Jose Orozco, Randy Orozco, Pedro Sanchez, and Servando Juarez.
