Ida Marie Busse Finke, 94, widow of Henry L. Finke, passed away February 10, 2011 in Bluebonnet Hills Care Center in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church of Berlin. Pastor Ken Weiss will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Ida Marie was born April 7, 1916 in White Hall, Texas in Grimes County to William and Emma Abke Busse. She was baptized April 24, 1916 in Salem Lutheran Church of White Hall and confirmed there April 13, 1930. She attended area schools, and married Henry L. Finke on October 25, 1935, also in Salem Lutheran Church of White Hall. She was a homemaker, and along with her husband, was a member of Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church of Berlin. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Ida Mae and Harold Weidner of Brenham; grandchildren: Connie and Robert Warmke, Linda and Donnie Anderson, Nancy and Johnny Danesi, and Peggy and Kirk Still; great-grandchildren: Nicole Warmke and fiancé Matt Smith; Wesley Warmke, Matthew Danesi, Mitchell Danesi, Preston Hauerland, Payton Hauerland, Hannah Anderson, and Gary Anderson; sisters-in-law Dora Wehmeyer of Smithville, Erna Flowers of Bryan, and Irene Busse of Navasota, and brother-in-law Bernhardt Finke of Conroe. Preceding her in death was her husband, Henry Finke, on April 11, 1992; a grandson, Jason Hauerland, on October 12, 2001; parents, William and Emma Busse; sisters: Esther Hemann and husband Fritz; Erna Busse; brothers: Herbert Busse and wife Selma, Ervin Busse, Melvin Busse, as well as 11 brothers-in-law and 10 sisters-in-law. Serving as pallbearers are Robert Warmke, Donnie Anderson, Johnny Danesi, Kirk Still, Matthew Danesi, Wesley Warmke, Mitchell Danesi, and Preston Hauerland. Honorary pallbearers are Payton Hauerland, Gary Anderson, Nichole Warmke, and Hannah Anderson. Memorials may be directed to Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church of Berlin.
