Imogene Constance Schuelke Eberle, 94, of Brenham, widow of Frank Armine Eberle, Jr., passed away September 23, 2008 in Argent Court Assisted Living Center. Mrs. Eberle was born July 4, 1914 in Smithville, Texas to Frank William and Florence Delia Nink Schuelke. She was baptized in 1914 in the Catholic Church of Smithville. On April 7, 1934, she married Frank Eberle, Jr. in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Eberle was a member of Oaklawn Presbyterian Church in Houston, and in later years, the Brenham Presbyterian Church of Brenham. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Richard Lee and Ruth Anne Eberle of Mexia and William Charles and Jeannie Eberle of Houston; daughter Virginia Anna Sabayrac of Houston; sisters and brothers-in-law Anna Louise Turner of Houston, and Frankie and Ernest Stockey of Richmond; grandchildren: Charles Ray Eberle, Barry Armine Sabayrac, Frank A. Eberle, Jason Wade Sabayrac, and Randal Eberle; great-grandchildren: Sara Eberle, Samantha Eberle, Zachary Swank, Jacob Sabayrac, Dylan Sabayrac, Alyssa Sabayrac, Zachary Baker, Brooke Sabayrac, Hannah Sabayrac, Alton C. Eberle, Courtney Eberle, and Austin Eberle. Mrs Eberle was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Eberle, Jr. and her parents. Funeral services for Imogene Constance Eberle will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2008 in Brenham Presbyterian Church with Rev. James McLeod officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. A visitation with family and friends will take place at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26. Serving as pallbearers are Charles Eberle, Barry Sabayrac, Jason Sabayrac, Frank Eberle, Randal Eberle, Alton Eberle, and Tim Rider. Memorial contributions may be directed to Brenham Presbyterian Church and Hospice Brazos Valley of Brenham. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main, Brenham.
