James Clark

James Michael Mike Clark, 47, went to be with his Lord on September 10, 2008. He was born in Grimes County to Morris and Margaret Clark. He spent a majority of his years in the Austin area. He was educated in the Austin Independent School District until his sophomore year. He transferred to Hays High School, from which he later graduated. After high school, Mike worked for his uncle, Albert Ginglewood, Jr., as a carpenter. He then worked at Schult Mobile Home Factory in Navasota. Then, he helped operate the local bus station with his grandmother. Later, he worked in the family business, Clark Travel, as a motorcoach operator, but after his daughter was born, he no longer wanted to be on the road. Instead he became the shop foreman and a certified diesel mechanic. Survivors include his daughter, Victoria Anne Clark; parents, Morris and Margaret Clark uncle, Charles Wells; aunt, Doris Ginglewood, and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert Sr. and Victoria Ginglewood and by his grandmother, Naomi Plant. A memorial service for Mike Clark will be held Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel, Brenham. In lieue of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up with True Blue Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 1107, Brenham, Tx. 77834. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
