James Valdez

James Stephen Valdez, 48, died August 15, 2017 near Brenham.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 18, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, with Father Jozef Musiol, Celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers are Richard Andrade, Johnny Talamantes, Causby Smith, Aaron Collins, Johnny Talamantes II, and Marquis Jackson.

James Valdez was born June 9, 1969 in Houston to Steve and Cherry Lynn Hamilton Valdez. He was employed in the construction business.

Survivors include his father, Steve Valdez and former wife, Janie Garcia, both of Brenham; daughters: Miracle Valdez of Houston; Beautiful Valdez, Sapphire Valdez, and Scarlet Valdez, all of Brenham and step-daughter, Naomi; sister, Alana Dubrocq of Temple. James was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral arrangements for James Stephen Valdez are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
