Janet Stevenson

Janet Elaine Stevenson, 78, died October 27, 2019 in Bryan.

Mrs. Stevenson was born September 2, 1941 in Brenham to Alvin and Edna Eickhoff Hueske. She was employed as a nurse at the Brenham Clinic.

Memberships included the Bluebonnet Garden Club, and the United Methodist Church. Dancing, cooking, and photography were favorite hobbies. Family was very important to Janet, and she was especially close to her sisters.

Survivors include sons Mark Zinsmeyer of Brenham, and Joel Zinsmeyer of Leander; sisters and brothers-in-law Carol and Wesley Westerfeld, Gloria and Billy Lehde, and Alisa and Kenneth Locke.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Maurice Zinsmeyer and Bob Stevenson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice Brazos Valley, Washington County EMS, or any Methodist or Lutheran Church.
