Jarrett was born March 27, 2000 in Stephenville, Texas. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brenham, where he took pride in being an altar server.
Jarrett was an excellent role model and amazing big brother. He took pride in learning trades and working alongside his father in the shop. He was a loving son and one a mother could not be more proud of. He was a member of the BHS football and soccer teams and always willing to help the team. He had just joined 4-H and was looking forward to a new challenge raising turkeys.
Jarrett loved being outdoors and would always have rather been fishing or sitting in the deer blind. Everyone who knew him knows that he had the kindest, most gentle heart. He loved our Lord and his faith. We are reminded of a quote from his favorite book: "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." from JK Rowling's "Harry Potter". Jarrett will want us to be strong for him, his family, and his friends.
Jarrett's parents are Russell and Lindsey Halfmann of Brenham, and brother to Cullen.
Grandparents are Thomas and Lorene Halfmann of Coleman, Tx., and Bill and Barbara Ratcliff of Magnolia., Tx. Great-grandparents are Bernice Halfmann of Olfen, Tx, Dorothy Kegley of New Boston, Tx., and Hazel Ratcliff of New Boston, Tx. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
