Jerrold Pyle

Jerrold Michael Pyle, 68, lost his hard-fought 2 year battle with cancer on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at his sister''s home in Brenham, surrounded by his family. After serving his country as a member of the U. S. Navy during Vietnam, Jerry worked in the oil industry in Houston until his retirement to Brenham in 2006. He enjoyed his time with his many friends at the Brenham golf course. He served his community by serving as a board member of the local Habitat for Humanity. Jerry is survived by his sister, Judith Clower; brother, Jon Pyle; son Aaron Jessica Pyle, and grandchildren, Audrey and Austin Pyle. A gathering of family and friends to honor Jerry and to share memories will be held at his sister''s home at 501 W. Lubbock St. on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Jerry''s honor be made to the Brenham Habitat for Humanity.
