Jerry Watson

Jerry Gordon Watson, 70, of Brenham, husband of Betty Kemper Watson, died January 14, 2010 in St. Joseph''s Regional Health Center in Bryan. Jerry was born October 30, 1939 in Freer, Texas to C. W. and Nova Yarbrough Watson. He married Betty Kemper in Houston on October 13, 1967, and was employed as a transportation and logistics manager in the petrochemical industry. Survivors include his wife, Betty Watson of Brenham; daughter Cindy Lohmeyer and husband Gordon of College Station; a grandson, Phillip Lohmeyer of College Station; brothers and sisters-in-law Charles and Lynn Watson of Dallas, and Bobby and Patsy Watson of Crockett, as well as a sister-in-law, Lois Atkinson of Pasadena. Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, and two brothers-in-law. Funeral services for Jerry Gordon Watson will be held Monday January 18, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill, with Pastor Jim Abbott officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Alice Petty. Her late husband, Bob Petty, will also be considered an honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to St. Matthew Lutheran Church or to the Alzeheimer''s Association. Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
