Jimmie Druschke

November 6, 1954 — February 5, 2015

Jimmy Lee Druschke, 60, of San Antonio, lost his battle with cancer at the home of his parents in the New Wehdem area, on February 5, 2015. Jimmy Lee Druschke was born November 6, 1954 in Dallas to Terry E. and Joy Parish Druschke. He served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps. Jimmy was employed as a salesman in the automotive business. Jimmy was an avid dart player, and was a member of a dart team competition. He loved baseball, and participated in Little League during his youth. Being single, he was an accomplished cook. A favorite dish was gumbo, but he always called his mother for advice on that last secret ingredient needed to make it perfect. He relied on his father for expert advice for maintaining his car and keeping it in top running condition. Survivors include uncles Jerry Dan Parish and Boyd Allen Parish and wife Denise; cousins Stephen Parish and Angie Payne. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Brazos Valley or to St. James Lutheran Church of New Wehdem. A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham. To post a tribute to the family, visit www.memorialoakschapel.com.
