Jimmy Klehm

Jimmy Lee Klehm, 56, of La Grange, passed away January 2, 2013 in St. David''s Hospital in Austin, surrounded by his two loving children. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Rev. Nate Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Jimmy Klehm was born December 4, 1956 in Brenham to William Fred Jr. and Ora Nell Ludwig Klehm. He was baptized in St. James Lutheran Church of New Wehdem, and later confirmed in Christ Lutheran Church of Brenham. He graduated from Brenham High School and was employed in the construction business. Jimmy was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Phillipsburg. Survivors include a son, Justin Klehm of Round Top; daughter and son-in-law, Tish Dianne and Chad Lehmann of La Grange; grandchildren Corey and Jace Lehmann; brother and sister-in-law Larry Wayne and Karen Klehm of Brenham, and a brother-in-law, Glenn Lampe of Brenham, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends and relatives. Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Linda Lampe. Serving as pallbearers are nephews Curtis Martin, Jason Goerlitz, Jesse Klehm, Seth Klehm, Chase Martin, and Rey Torrez. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Klehm, Frank Krotofil, Glenn Klehm, Edwin Grahmann, Ronnie Klehm, Mike Krotofil, Jesse Davis, and Ray Davis. Memorials may be directed to any favorite charity.
