Jo Walker

Jo Ann Walker, 71, of Brenham, the widow of Charles W. Brymer, died Sunday at her residence in Brenham. Mrs. Walker was born February 25, 1936 in Caldwell, Texas, to Julian Marcus and Nellie Mae McGuire Clepper, She was baptized in the Heights Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. On August 16, 1952, she was married to Charles W. Brymer. She worked as a Wal-Mart associate in Brenham for 15 years. Survivors include her mother, Nellie Mae Teague of Brenham; son, Charles W. Brymer, Jr. of Brenham; daughter & son-in-law, Judy & Brad Webb of Magnolia, TX; brother & sister-in-law, Julian M.and Sherry Clepper of Magnolia, TX; sister & brother-in-law, Pam & John Alford of Brenham; grandchildren, Michael Ray Brymer, Jr., Christie JoAnn Brymer, Tracy Brymer, Jamie Brymer, Randy Brymer, Bo Brymer, Patty Brymer Dorn, John Cody Brymer, Danny Buehring, and Justin Buehring; great-grandchildren, Cara Brymer, Kayla Brymer, Courtney Hardwick, Troy Brymer, Cade Schubert, James Mendoza, Brandon Brymer, and Carson Landry Dorn, her nieces and their families; Shelia Marzahn, & Cindy Grimm. Jo Ann was preceded in death by one son, Michael Ray Brymer, husband, Charles W. Brymer, father, Julian M. Clepper and stepfather, Lawson Teague. Funeral service for Jo Ann Walker will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham, with Jimmy Jaster officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell Texas. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2007, at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. Pallbearers will be David Grimm, Derek Grimm, Brad Webb, Mark Marzahn, Joe Dorn, and Derek Krause. The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, 302 East Blue Bell Road, Brenham, TX 77833. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main St., Brenham, TX.
