Johnelle Kasprowicz

Johnelle Bradley Kasprowicz, 83, wife of Donald F. Kasprowicz, passed away January 25, 2011 in Scott and White Hospital in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Rev. Mr. Dewain E. Smith will officiate. Burial will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the College Station City Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Johnelle was born Feb. 5, 1927 in Rice, Navarro County, Texas to Alton B. and Clara Jackson Bradley. She was confirmed in St. Mary''s Catholic Church by Father Marion Atomanczyk. In August of 1969, she was married to Don Kasprowicz. A graduate of North Texas State University, Johnelle was a dedicated educator, having taught for 35 years in Burleson, Washington, Montgomery, and Fayette Counties. She was a member of St. Mary''s Catholic Church, and of the MENSA organization for many years. Survivors include her husband, Don Kasprowicz of Brenham; sons and daughters-in-law Matthew Douglas and Yvonne Duewall of Fulshear; David Mark and Lois Duewall of Helotes; daughter and son-in-law Martha Diane and Rev. Dewain E. Smith of Savannah, GA.; daughter-in-law Dr. Beverly Stiles of Wichita Falls; an "adopted" son, Antonio Palacios; grandchildren: Paul, Mary, Ann, Lydia, James, Stephen, Jennifer, Angela, and Maria, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and former students. She is also survived by two cousins: Bettye Jean Bradley Jackson of Kerrville and John Kestler Bradley, Jr. of Corsicana. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Leroy Alfred Duewall, and one son, Dana Michael Duewall. Memorials may be directed to The St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Mary''s Catholic Church in Brenham.
