Johnnie Becker

July 28, 1942 — May 11, 2021

Brenham, TX

Johnnie Lou Becker, 78, passed away on May 11, 2021. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated. Please join the family for a visitation gathering on Saturday, May 22, from 4pm until 7pm at Memorial Oaks Chapel. They look forward to hearing your favorite memories and stories of Johnnie.

Johnnie Lou was born to parents JB and Celesta (Hewitt) Dallmeyer on July 28, 1942 in Burton, Texas. She grew up in the area and attended Burton schools.

Although Johnnie moved around during her life, Brenham was home and she always found herself returning to the area. She was blessed with two children, Gordon and Jackie. Johnnie was hard working, fun loving, and generous.

Johnnie greatly enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially being out in nature fishing. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In recent years, Johnnie’s faith became very important to her. Her faith was a great comfort to her and she learned to really love the Lord in her later years.

Johnnie is survived by her children, Gordon Riggins (wife Margaret), Jackie Adler (husband Otis); her sister Gladys Smith; she was “Granny” to her beloved grandchildren Breanna Younkins (Andrew), Raechel Hinojosa (Josh), Jason Riggins, Kyra Riggins, Benjamin Eickenhorst (Zach), Tyler Eickenhorst (Natasha); and four great-grandchildren.

Johnnie is preceded in death by her parents, JB and Celesta; and brothers Glenn Dallmeyer and John Dallmeyer.
