Johnnie Brending

Johnnie Brending, 68, died August 1, 2019 at his residence in Industry.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2019 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Pastor Jill Vivroux officiating. Burial will be in the Wesley Brethren Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Johnnie Brending was born November 7, 1950 in Brenham to Annie (Kmiec) and Edward Brending, Sr. He was baptized July 8, 1966 and confirmed July 10, 1966.

Johnnie enjoyed several hobbies including gardening, camping, fishing and barbecuing for his friends and family. He was retired from Ameritrail Inc. formerly Trailer Wheel and Frame, after 30 years of service.

Survivors include his sister Florence Krause and Larry Kaigler of Industry; Mary “Girlie” Jozwiak of Wesley; brother and sister-in-law, Roger “Chee-Chee” and Linda Brending of La Grange; nieces and nephews Tammy Adams and Dennis Goynes of Bellville; Tracy and Jared Ripple of Industry; Joey and Ivanna Krause of Austin, and Frank Brending of Bellville; great nieces and great nephews: Samantha Krause, Kaleb Adams, Jared Krause, Kase Ripple, and Kolston Ripple.

Also surviving is his best friend and pet companion, Karter.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Brending Jr. and wife Sheryl; brother-in-law, A. J. “Jody” Krause; brother-in-law Charles Jozwiak; nephew, Keith Jozwiak.

Serving as pallbearers are Keith Neuendorff, Larry McGrath Sr., Joey Krause, Jared Ripple, Dennis Goynes, and Larry Kaigler.

Great nieces and great nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
