Joseph Rayzor, Sr.

JOSEPH A. RAYZOR, SR., 84, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 at his home in Brenham, Texas. He was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on December 14, 1929. Joe graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Geology and enjoyed a long and successful career in the Oil & Gas business. Joe met his wife, Pat, in Houston and were happily married for 65 years. During his retirement, he traveled and played golf around the world. He enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Brenham, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Baldwin Rayzor, three sons, Joe A. Rayzor, Jr., wife Karen, Richard S. Rayzor, Jack B. Rayzor, wife, Laurie, grandchildren, Ashlyn Rudnick and husband Ben Rudnick, Joseph A. Rayzor, III and wife Sally Rayzor, Brittany Poe and husband Bryce Poe, Shelby Vidor, Anna Rayzor, Austin Rayzor, and Brandon Rayzor. He is also survived by three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his infant daughter Robin J. Rayzor, and parents, Jack P. Rayzor and Bess Hendley Rayzor, his sisters, E. B. Bryant and Jackie Down. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the Chapel at Kruse Village, 1700 E. Stone St., Brenham, Texas.
