Josephine Cronk

Josephine Frances Cronk, 80, of Brenham, died June 23, 2004, in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Mrs. Cronk was born Sept. 30, 1923, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, to John and Josephine Roller Pavlica. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Walt Moffett of Brenham; grandchildren, Mike Marino, Marc Marino, Lacey Moffett and Ronni Moffett; and sisters, Blanch Taylor of San Antonio and Christine of the Rio Grande Valley. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John H. Matland, Jr., on Feb. 20, 1973; her second husband, George Robert Cronk, on Aug. 17, 1982; and her daughter, Jackie Mae Marno, on Jan. 7, 2002. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 25 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
