Josephine Hugo

Josephine Ann Holle Foltermann Hugo, 83, of Brenham, died February 8, 2013, at Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center in Brenham. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13 at St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill with Pastor David Hansen and Pastor Virgil Pecht officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Mrs. Hugo was born September 26, 1929 in Brenham to William and Ella Grebe Holle. She was baptized November 24, 1929 and was confirmed April 2, 1944. On January 8, 1950, she was married to Clarence Foltermann, who preceded her in death on August 10, 1997. On January 12, 2002, she was married to Kermit Ray Hugo, who preceded her in death on May 5, 2012. Mrs. Hugo was employed at Houston Independent School District in food services. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill and the Women of the ELCA Naomi Circle. She was also a member of the Prairie Hill-Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Survivors include her daughter, Jan Renee Foltermann of Brenham; grandson, Jaughn Dwayne Foltermann, who was adopted and is named John Howard Ore; brother-in-law, Donald Foltermann; and sisters-in-law, Emma Lou Foltermann and Cynthia Foltermann. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and son, Douglas Keith Foltermann. Pallbearers will be Douglas Zwiener, Donald Foltermann, Tommy Moehlmann, Donnie Moehlmann, Ron Arnold and Tom Arledge. Members of the Prairie Hill-Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Department will be considered honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be given to the Women of the ELCA at St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill or the Alzheimer''s Association. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
