Josephine Villa

Josephine Villa, 89, of Pflugerville, died January 24, 2017, in St. David's Hospital in Round Rock.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. The funeral will be at noon Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham with Deacon Al Prescott officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Brenham.

Mrs. Villa was born July 30, 1927, in Brenham, TX, to Joe and Kate (Warcherski) Kenjura. She was a member of the Catholic faith. During World War II, she was a welder. She worked with her husband Jessie in Villa Trucking Co. and loved gardening, canning and dominoes.

Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Carol of Irving and Gail Russell of Arkansas; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Joy Kenjura of Brenham; grandchildren, Angela Jones and Jimi Jones, Kim Ybarra and Gabe Ybarra, Mark Russell and Emily Russell; and great-grandchildren, Krystal McDonald, Haley Jones, Holly Jones, Mayzee Sanchez and Bea Ybarra.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Villa.
