Joy (Parish) Druschke, 86, passed away February 08, 2023 in Brenham, Texas.

Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2023 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Chapel, Brenham.

Funeral Services are Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 1:00 pm at St. James Lutheran Church, New Wehdem. Family will be present at noon for visitation.

Joy was born on April 12, 1936 in Waco, to Marvin Eugene and Gnell Williams Parish.

She was baptized in Riesel Baptist Church in Riesel, Texas. A 1954 graduate of Seminole High School, she was a member of Sons of Hermann #6, The Woodmen of the World.

On June 24, 1961 she was married to Terry Druschke in Pasadena.

Joy was employed as an escrow secretary by San Jacinto Title Co. in Pasadena, Stewart Title Co. and Alamo Title Co., both in San Antonio.

Reading, watching movies, and listening to music were her favorite past times. She enjoyed taking care of her indoor plants and visiting her friends in San Antonio.

Survivors include her husband Terry Druschke; brother, Boyd Allen Parish and wife Denise; niece, Ange Payne and husband Mike; nephew, Stephen Parish and wife Kristin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Marvin Eugene Parish and Gnell Parish; brother, Gene Earl Parish, Marshall Lee Parish, Gary Don Parish and Jerry Dan Parish and Son, Jimmy Lee Druschke.

Serving as pall bearers are Ralph Tiemann, Robert Winklemann, Stephen Parish, Russell Kohring, Pat Mabry, and Jake Schaper.

Memorials may be directed to St, James Lutheran Church of New Wehdem.
