Joyce Stewart

In loving memory of our mother, Joyce Smock Stewart, who passed away peacefully on Friday February 17, 2023. Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Brenham at 11:00 am on February 25, 2023. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Joyce was the devoted wife to her late husband Ernie Stewart and loving mother of Rob and Ron Stewart.

Joyce will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Our mom was a kind, caring, giving, and "feisty" person. She always put the needs of her family over her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in life with courage and dignity.

We would especially like to show our appreciation to Jenny and her staff at Argent Court Assisted Living, along with the Hospice nurses that all helped make Joyce's final days as comfortable and safe as possible.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Bertha Smock, her brother Harold Smock Jr., her loving husband Ernie Stewart.

She is survived by: her son Rob and his Wife Sharlynn, grandchildren Abby and Andy Stewart; son Ron and his wife Pam, grandchildren Kolby and Madison Stewart.
