Juan Manuel Johnny Ramirez, Sr., 61, of Houston, died December 24, 2013 in Houston. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton, with Pastor Glen Schoeneberg officiating. Burial will follow in La Bahia Cemetery. Public viewing will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, with a devotional will take place at 7 p.m. Friday evening at Foehner Funeral Home. Public viewing will continue Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. Juan Manuel Johnny Ramirez, Sr. was born January 26, 1952 in Donna, Texas to Pablo Sr. and Idolisa Ramirez Ramirez. On October 10, 1972, he married Rosa Olivarez, and the family made their home in Houston, where Juan was employed as an air conditioning technician. A kind and generous person, Juan thought always of others, and often went out of his way to help those in need. Also known as a hopeless romantic, he enjoyed dancing and often bought roses for his wife, Rosa. He treasured time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, and many memories were made on family vacations to various locations. Survivors include his wife, Rosa; sons Juan Jr. and wife Michelle, Joey Ramirez, Sr., Jesus, Chuey Olivarez, Juan Pepe Olivarez and wife Juanita; daughters and sons-in-law Jennifer and Ray Salazar, and Tamie and Orlando Espinoza Sr.; grandchildren: Raynna and Liliana Ramirez, Raelynn, Mandy, Christopher, Desirey, Ray Jr., and Lisa Salazar, Angela, Vivian, and Orlando Espinoza, Jr; great-grandchildren: Jessica Interano and Jiovanny Garcia; siblings, Pablo, Jr., Armando, Sr., Gloria, Luis, Juana, and Carlos, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Pablo Ramirez, Sr., mother Idolisa Ramirez, brother, Paco Ramirez, and nephew Boy Ramirez.
