Juanita Harvill

Juanita Sheen Harvill of Burton, Texas, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 in Bellville, Texas. Juanita was born May 3, 1922 in Montague County, Texas to William David and Eva Dell Dunn Sheen. She married Cecil Eugene Harvill on December 23, 1939, in Marietta, Love County, Oklahoma. She raised her family in Paris, Texas where she worked alongside her husband in their insurance agency and later as a receptionist in a law office. In later years, she moved to south Texas where she helped care for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include daughters Carroll Lee Harvill Holmes of New Ulm and Juanita Sue Harvill Kapchinskie of Baytown; grandchildren Cassandra Bryant Meyer and husband, Troy Meyer of Burton, Texas and Christopher Eugene Kapchinskie and wife, Jessica Kapchinskie of Henderson, Texas; great-grandchildren: Bethany and Victoria Bryant, Kolden and RayLee Meyer, Karlee and Kaden Kapchinskie; brothers: Donald Sheen and wife, Wanda, of Lamesa, Texas, and Bob Sheen and wife, Hazel, of Colorado Citiy, Texas; sisters: Frances Gardenhire of Blackwell, Texas, Cora Sue Boyd of New Hampshire, and Nell Flowers and husband James of Haughton, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers: Clifton Sheen and Bert Sheen, sisters: Billie Jean Smith and Elizabeth Jenkins, and son-in-law, David Holmes. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013 in Mountain Park Cemetery in St. Jo, Texas. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Brazos Valley or to the Hwy. 290 Church of Christ in Brenham. Funeral arrangements for Juanita Sheen Harvill are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
