Juanita Ross Josserand, 93, of Brenham, died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Josserand was born April 5, 1914 in McHenry, Mississippi, to Mack Derwood and Mercedes Jones Jackson. On April 14, 1951, she married Ralph Josserand, who preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Pam Jackson, of Brenham; a son, Charlie Reagan Horton of Mississippi; a granddaughter, Tina Ford and husband Matt of Houston, a grandson, Reagan Jackson and wife Laurie of Houston; great-grandchildren Daisy, Reagan, and Rex, and a brother, Bill Triggs and wife Kate of Georgetown. Her parents, husband and two brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Josserand was educated in Gulfport, Mississippi, and was a fashion designer for Sakowitz. She was a member of Chappell Hill Methodist Church. She and her husband were active in the Brenham Shrine Club. A memorial service for Juanita Josserand will be held Thursday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chappell Hill Methodist Church in Chappell Hill, with Rev. Kathy Harrell and Rev. Paula Behrens-Lopez officiating. Memorials in her memory may be made to the Chappell Hill Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main.
