Judith Lynn Hovet Mikeska, 57, of Fayetteville, Texas passed away in the loving arms of her husband, children and grandchildren at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas at 1:59 pm on October 24, 2015. Judith, being the perpetual optimist left guidance for all of us not to mourn, but instead to celebrate her heaven sending accordingly with happy worship and praise for our Lords beautiful works in lieu of a sad funeral. The celebration of Judy''s life will happen Wednesday evening October 28, 2015 at 6:30 PM at Wesley Brethren Church in Wesley, Texas. Guests are asked to bring a dish to share in a potluck meal and to partake in loving fellowship that Judy treasured so dearly. In place of flower arrangements, please bring small rose or sage bushes that can grow and live forever at her church in her beautiful memory. Judith was born in Watford City, North Dakota to Virginia and Herbert Hovet and was one of 5 siblings. In addition to family, friends, animals, dancing and helping to mother anyone in need, regardless of age, Judy was one tough beloved cookie. She was the definition of determined and tough love. Judith was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Virginia Hovet and her youngest brother Loren Hovet. Judith is survived by her devoted husband Glen Mikeska of Bleiblerville, Texas; her eldest siblings Jimmy Hovet, Leighton Hovet, and Annalee Crum. She is also survived by her children, Amyjo Anderson and Joshua Flye; grandchildren: Blake Scott, Katelyn Anderson, Madison Anderson, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends throughout Texas, Colorado, and North Dakota, as well as her Bluebonnet Electric Co-op family.
