Justin Joswiak

Justin Paul Josie Joswiak of Brenham was born on June 12, 1986 in Bellville, Austin County, Texas, the son of Timothy Earl & Cindy Sue Koerth Joswiak. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Mary s Catholic Church of Brenham. A member of the Senior Class of Brenham High School, Justin was a member of the Brenham Cubs Baseball Team and played in the 2003 Big League World Series. He was also a member of Cub Pride and the Brenham Younglife Club. Josie and his brothers were partners in their own lawn care service. In the early hours of Sunday, December 21, 2003, Justin died after sustaining injuries in an automobile accident. He had attained the age of 17 years. Justin is survived by his parents, Tim & Cindy Joswiak of Brenham; his brothers: John and Jacob Joswiak, both of Brenham; his paternal grandmother, Gloria Joswiak of Brenham; his maternal grandparents: Billy Koerth of Burton; special friend, Theresa Bilski of Brenham; and Doris Smith of Shelby; by his paternal great-grandmother, Gertrude Faske of Brenham and by his maternal great-grandmother, Bertha Koerth. Justin is further survived by his uncles: Mike Joswiak, Mark Joswiak and Danny Koerth as well as his aunts: Laura Harbin & husband, Richard; Becky Krebs & husband, Steve; Vicky Reeves & husband, Doyle and Wendy Warner & husband, David. He is also survived by his cousins: Monica Reeves, David Warner, Jr., Rachel Warner, Tyler Krebs, Madison Harbin and Katelyn Harbin. The family wishes to recognize two very special friends, Wanda Carter Kramer and Doris Beckermann. The Joswiak family will receive callers on Monday evening, December 22, 2003 between the hours of 6 o clock and 8 o clock in Memorial Oaks Chapel. A service of remembrance will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Mary s Catholic Church in Brenham on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Kramer, Chase Wheaton, Bradley Kohring, Ryan Majewski, Will Klingsporn, Danny Koerth, Coach Jim Long and Coach Lanny Williams. The family will consider the members of the 2003 State Baseball Semi-Finalist Team and all present Cub Varsity players as honorary pallbearers.
