Karen Meier

Karen Sue Henslee Meier of Missouri City, Texas died December 19, 2014 in a Houston hospital. Karen was born on June 2, 1945 to Hubert Lee and Viola Emily Schultz Henslee in Brenham Tx. She was educated at Brenham Schools and University of Texas at Austin. Karen was a member of Quail Valley Ladies Golf Assn. , Quail Valley Garden Club and Preceptor Alpha Chi. Survivors include: husband Neill Meier of Missouri City, daughters: Kelly Robin Sadler and a son-in-law: Zackry Sadler of Victoria, TX. grandchildren: Gracyn McCarty and Jacob McCarty, brother and sister-in-law: Llenn and Marie Meier of Rollins Meadows, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents H.L. and Viola Henslee and sister Beverly Maddox. Serving as pallbearers: Zackry Sadler, Don Stoeltje, Rod Seto, Rich Rodriquez, Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. December 23, 2014 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Jon Stouffer officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation with family will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
