Kathleen Smith

Kathleen R. Smith, 58, of Brenham, widow of Stephen A. Smith, died Monday, May 7, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Smith was born March 23, 1949 in Fort Worth to Elton and Dorothy Brown Robinson. She attended New Braunfels area schools and later Southwest Texas University. On February 1, 1969, she married Stephen A. Smith in First Baptist Church in San Marcos, Texas. She was the owner of Bluebonnet Petroleum Distributors. Mrs. Smith was a member of St. Paul s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brenham. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Robinson of Brenham; son, Bobby Smith of Brenham; daughter, Kimberly Horne of Brenham; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Cynthia Robinson of Brenham; grandchildren Brandon, Andrew and Zachry Horne of Brenham, and special friend, Jimmie Borchardt of Brenham. She was preceded in death by her father, Elton Robinson; her husband, Stephan A. Smith; and sister, Marsha O Bannion. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Funeral services for Kathleen R. Smith will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10 at St. Paul s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brenham with Pastors Lawrence Bade and Kim Little-Brooks officiating.
