Kathryn Eyvonne Schroeder Perry, 75, widow of Arnold Perry, died November 28, 2011 in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastors Matthew Jacobs and William Holzer officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel Kathryn was born May 7, 1936 in Navasota to George and Emma Louise Becker Schroeder. Baptized May 31, 1936, she was confirmed June 4, 1950, and attended Anderson High School. On January 19, 1958, she was married to Arnold Perry, who preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1991. An devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church, she was active in the Ladies Evening Circle. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, always willing to sacrifice anything to help her family. Kathryn was always there for her friends and was willing to help anyone in need. A very kind, loving and caring person, she will always be remembered as one who unselfishly put the needs of her family and friends before her own. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Karen and Terry Schultz, and Nancy and Ricky Buro, all of Brenham; grandchildren: Robert Schultz, Nichole Senteno, Darryl Schultz, and Amber Coward; great-grandchildren: Haley Schultz, Ethan Schultz, Seth Schultz, Morella Espinoza, Darian Miller, Jacob Schultz, Abigail Schultz, Kerstynn Meyer, and Kaleb Meyer; brothers and sisters-in-law: Franklin and Betty Schroeder of Bryan and James and Carol Lynn Schroeder of Huntsville. Other relatives include April Schultz, Chris Coward, Raymond and Yvonne Schroeder, Rhonda Ziverk, Robin Gordon, Staci Schroeder, Michael Schroeder, Art Senteno, Ryan and Angela Schroeder, Shelby and Landon Gilbert, and a number of nieces and nephews. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold, and her parents, Emma and George Schroeder. Serving as pallbearers are Darryl Schultz, Daniel Romo, Michael Schroeder, Ryan Schroeder, Robert Schultz, Paul Schultze, Art Senteno, and Charlie Bates. Honorary pallbears are her great-grandsons: Ethan Schultz, Seth Schultz, Jacob Schultz, and Kaleb Meyer. Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church or to Hospice Brazos Valley.
