Kathy Bates

Kathy Dianne Fay passed away November 13, 2009 in Burton. She was born November 23, 1960, and is survived by her son, Staff Sgt. Brandon Fay of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers Glenn Bates of Montgomery and Jerry Bates of Houston, and an uncle, Sidney Bates, Jr. of Houston. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Bates and her mother, Flo Bates of Burton. Kathy was a loving mother. She operated Bates RV & Boat Storage, having taken operation of the business in August, 2007. She will be missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg. The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to MADD, an organization which she strongly supported. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
