Kenneth KennyLee Mikeska, 60 of Bleiblerville was carried home by the angels on April 8, 2015. A Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday April 15th, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. from the Nelsonville Brethren Church with Bro. Mike Groseclose officiating. Interment will be in the National Cemetery near Nelsonville. Honorary pallbearers will be Darwin Macat, Luis Garcia, Cody Plagens, Kyle Wittner and Daniel Plagens. Kenny was born June 19, 1954 to Pat and the late Jean Mikeska of Bleiblerville. He was baptized on September 5, 1954 and confirmed on August 20, 1967. He attended Welcome Elementary through the 8th grade and was a member of the Boy Scouts. He then attended Bellville High School. He went on to become an electrician by trade and did this for many years. He enjoyed sitting in his yard around a campfire and bar-b-quing, trailriding, and his horses. He was a member of the SPJST Lodge # 33 of Bleiblerville and Nelsonville and also the Bleiblerville Volunteer Fire Department. Kenny is survived by his children Chrissy Heron and Chane Haynie; granddaughter Lydia Heron-Gore of Tennessee, Father Pat Mikeska of Bleiblerville, brothers Glen Mikeska and wife Judy of Fayetteville and Frank Mikeska of Chappell Hill; sisters Rita Mikeska of Chappell Hill, Linda Peschel and husband Bill of Industry and Gwen Zapalac and husband Rodney of Bellville; his aunt May Mikeska of Bleiblerville and Ethel Leonard and Beryl Bailey of England; Uncles Granville Leonard and Brian Bailey of England; His Godchild Chad Mikeska; Elizabeth Mikeska and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, JeanBailey Mikeska, grand parents Fred and Ethel Bailey and step grandmother Hilda Bailey, Frank and Fannie Mikeska; uncles Lonnie Mikeska and Stewart Bailey and nephew Charles Glenn Mikeska. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nelsonville Brethren Church, or to the Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Luis and Diiana Garcia and Darwin Macat for taking care of him in his time of need.
