Kermit Hinze, Jr., 71, of Burton, died October 30, 2007, at Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Mr. Hinze was born October 29, 1936, in Burton, Texas, to Kermit A. Hinze and Lilly I. Wolff Hinze. He was baptized April 18, 1937 in Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine and was also confirmed there. He was a graduate of Burton High School and Blinn College. Mr. Hinze was a farmer. He was a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church all his life and served many years as secretary/treasurer of the Winedale Chapter of Germania Insurance. Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and Curtis Wendler of Tomball; and nephews, Gary Wendler, Allen Wendler and Doug Wendler. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine with Pastors Richard Nelson and Teresa Davis officiating. Burial will be in Richter Cemetery of Round Top. Pallbearers will be Gary Wendler, Allen Wendler, Doug Wendler, Ronnie Hinze, Billy Hinze, Milton Wickel, Steve Mueller and Calvin Kuehn. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Dell Neutzler and Willie Mertz. Memorials may be given to Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Foehner Funeral Home, 13560 W.
