Laclaves Kapchinski

Laclaves Archie Louis Kapchinski, 67, of Brenham, died Jan. 12, 2004, in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Mr. Kapchinski was born Dec. 7, 1936, in Stoneham, TX, to Joe and Hattie Urbanosky Kapchinski. He was baptized in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson. In 1975, he was married to Aissia Nichols. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Randy and Judy Kapchinski, Ricky and Brenda Kapchinski, Mikie and Bobby Stokley, Jody and Loretta Kapchinski, Melissa and David Bennett and Margaret Pelletier, all of Brenham, Theresa and Pat Wilson of Midland, Linda and Leroy Robinson of Andrews, Carolyn and Lee Coppedge of Vernon, Kathy and Lee Smith of Vernon, Cheryl and Billy Hammes of Arkansas and Derrick Kapchinski of Brenham; sister, Agatha Wagner and husband Johny; brothers, Leon Kapchinski and Floyd Kapchinski; special friend, Leatrice Kapchinski; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aissia Kapchinski; parents, Joe and Hattie Kapchinski; son, Charles Wayne Kapchinski; daughter, Virginia Tina Lynn Kapchinski; special friend, Mary; and sister, Margaret Kapchinski. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14 in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham with Deacon Dan Nowak officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. His grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
