Larry Wunderlich

Larry Wunderlich, 66, husband of Colette Wunderlich, died March 23, 2013 in Seton Hospital in Kyle, Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine, with Pastor David Tinker officiating. Burial will take place in Mayer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton. Larry Wunderlich was born Sept. 8, 1946 in Burton to Melvin and Evelyn Meinen Wunderlich. He was baptized and later confirmed in Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Round Top. He married Colette Mayer on June 20, 1970 in St. John''s Lutheran Church of Warrenton. Larry was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church of Carmine. He was a partner and CEO of AKI Control Systems. For the last year, he designed and constructed The Village Market in Carmine, which he and his family own. Survivors include his wife, Colette Wunderlich of Carmine; daughter, Cindy Weidemann of Carmine; sons and daughters-in-law Jeffrey and Kristi Wunderlich of Carmine, and Bradley and Marci Wunderlich of Waldeck; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Maxine Wunderlich of Winedale; grandchildren: Janette Weidemann, Abby and Cody Wunderlich, and Carter and Bailey Wunderlich; an aunt, Mary Dien Neutzler of Burton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Treva and Jimmy Whitehead, Gwen Woelfel, Monty and Lisa Mayer, Clayton and Becca Mayer, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Serving as pallbearers are Adam Mayer, Claire Mayer, John Mayer, Matthew Whitehead, Haley Woelfel, Kevin Woelfel, Lindsey Horak, and Stephanie Reuter. Honorary pallbearers are Andrea Driver and Heather Wright. Memorials may be directed to the Mayer Cemetery Association, P. O.
