Lenora Britton

Lenora "Nora" M. Britton, 94, of Brenham, died November 12, 2014 at Briarwood Manor Care Center in Bellville. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Wesley Brethren Church Cemetery, with Pastor Michael Groseclose officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Nora Britton was born Feb. 21, 1920 in Wichita Falls to Frank D. and Annie Hromadka Krizan. She was educated in West Station schools. Nora married J. W. Britton on Jan. 25, 1941 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Houston. She was employed by Joske''s in retail sales.. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Albina Krizan, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. Britton, on July 7, 1982, and brothers George Meschewitz, Fred Krizan, Adolph Krizan, Dan Krizan, Lawrence Krizan, Calvin Krizan, Frank Krizan, Ed Krizan, and sisters Lucille Jezek, Mary Mikeska, and Minnie Bateman.
