Leona Lehmann, 100, of Brenham, died June 24, 2010 in Kruse Village. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 2:00p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Pastor Lawrence Bade will officiate. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Miss Lehmann was born September 4, 1909 in Burton to Albert J. and Mary Schawe Lehmann. She was baptized in St. Paul''s Lutheran Church of Rehburg, and confirmed April 5, 1925 in Salem Lutheran Church of Salem by Rev. William Utesch. She attended Washington County area schools, and later Blinn College. Miss Lehmann was a seamstress, and a member of St. Paul''s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Survivors include sisters Dula Schroeder and Mary Dell Hueske, both of Brenham; nieces and nephews Roy B. and Lorena Schroeder, Glen A. Schroeder, Milton F. and Linda Hueske, Luther and Katie Hueske, Mary Ann Hueske, and Paul Marshall; great-nephews and great-nieces: Jay Schroeder and wife Krissy; Cas Schroeder, Kelly Flisowski and husband Kevin; Ryan Schroeder and wife Jennifer; Cory Swor and husband Blake, Cassie Hueske, Wade Hueske and John Hueske; great-great nieces and great-great nephews: Karleigh and Kaden Flisowski, Lawson and Cooper Swor and Ana Schroeder, as well as numerous cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister, Elizabeth Lehmann, and two brothers-in-law, Roy Schroeder and Milton R. Hueske. Serving as pallbearers are Roy B. Schroeder, Glen A. Schroeder, Milton F. Hueske, Luther Hueske, Paul Marshall, and Kenneth Lehmann. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul''s Evangelical Lutheran Church or to Hospice Brazos Valley.
