Leslie Rice

Leslie Ann Rice, 44, of Burton, died October 14, 2009 in Monument Hill Nursing and Rehab Center in LaGrange. Leslie was born February 10, 1965 in Omaha, Nebraska to Howard and Mary Cantrell. She was employed at the Burton Café as a cook. Survivors include her daughter, Rachel Rice, and her brother, Lee Cantrell of Colorado; mother, Mary Cantrell; father, Howard Cantrell, and special family friend, Bill Wolverton. A memorial service for Leslie Ann Rice will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 17 at St. John''s United Church of Christ in Burton, with Pastor Glen Schoeneberg officiating. The family requests that those attending the service wear colorful attire rather than black, to celebrate Leslie''s life. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
