Lillian Borgstedte

Lillian Anna Klara Krueger Borgstedte, 95, of Brenham, died June 26, 2006, at Trinity Medical Center in Brenham after a brief illness. Lillian was born in Washington, Texas, on September 20, 1910, to Charles and Malinda Loesch Krueger of Washington, Texas. She was baptized and confirmed at Friedens Evangelical and Reformed Friedens United Church of Christ in Washington. She was a homemaker. Surviving Mrs. Borgstedte are her two sons, Donald Borgstedte and wife Helen and Homer Borgstedte and wife Joan, all of Houston; grandchildren, Brent Borgstedte and wife Leila of Bellaire, Steven Borgstedte and wife Janet of Houston, Susan Wuneburger of Houston and Amy Borgstedte of Austin; great-grandchildren, Drew Borgstedte, Nicholas Borgstedte, Alexander Borgstedte, Timothy Wuneburger, Joshua Wilburn, Sean Wilburn and Madison Borgstedte; and a sister, Annie Mae Heuvel and husband Lewis of Brenham. Mrs. Borgstedte was a resident of Argent Court at the time of her death and leaves many friends there. She was a life member of the Women s Guild and appreciated all the love and kindness they showed her in her later years with visits and birthday celebrations. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 29, at Friedens United Church of Christ in Washington with Pastor Ron Trimmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brent Borgstedte, Steven Borgstedte, Timothy Wuneburger, Dennis Holle, Wallace Bosse, Douglas Buck and John Ashley Sommer. Memorials may be given to Friedens United Church of Christ of Washington. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
