April 25, 1926 — June 2, 2015

Lillian Francis Hiebeler, 89, passed away June 2, 2015 at Brenham Rest Home. The graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2015 at Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled immediately before that from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Lillian Hiebeler was born April 25, 1926 in Chatham, New York to Albert and Grace Vatcher Francis. She married her sweetheart, George Edward Hiebeler Jr., on February 12, 1944 in Monroe, Louisiana. They celebrated 65 years of marriage before his death in 2009. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her whole life revolved around doing things for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was always baking something in the kitchen, and working on her craft projects. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Mary Hiebeler of Chatham, New York; son Bill Hiebeler of Leander; daughter and son-in-law Georgia and Mark Sullivan of Albany, New York; and daughter and son-in-law Gloria and Scott Hill of Brenham; grandchildren David Hiebeler, Tina Salcedo, Elisa Hiebeler, Julie Sullivan, Andrew Sullivan, Rachel Altimari, Kevin Sullivan, Rebecca Greer, Sarah Hill, Hannah Hill, Lydia Hill, Abigail Hill, and Naomi Hill; and 9 great- grandchildren, with a 10th due in December. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Brenham Rest Home and Compassionate Care Hospice for the loving care they provided. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Activities Department at Brenham Rest Home. Funeral arrangements for Lillian Hiebeler are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
