Lillian Dallmeyer Rosenbaum, 84, widow of Alton Rosenbaum, of Brenham, passed away May 27, 2008 in Trinity Care Center. Mrs. Rosenbaum was born at home on March 12, 1924 to Herman and Amalie Fuchs Dallmeyer in Burton, Texas. She was baptized in July of 1924 in St. John''s United Church of Christ in Burton, and confirmed there on April 2, 1939. She was educated in the Hohenwalde schools. On October 6, 1946, she married Alton Rosenbaum in St. John''s United Church of Christ. She was a homemaker, and a member of St. John''s United Church of Christ in Burton. Survivors include a son, Dennis Rosenbaum and wife Beverly of Brenham; grandchildren: Denise and John Valdez, Dennis Rosenbaum, Amanda Rosenbaum, and Cody Woodrome; great-grandchildren: Brittani, Adrian, Louis Valdez, and Michael and Elizabeth Rosenbaum; sisters-in-law Hattie Dallmeyer and Anita Dallmeyer, both of Brenham, and a brother-in-law Ervin Ganske and wife Ruth of Brenham. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Alton Rosenbaum in 1977. Funeral services for Lillian Dallmeyer Rosenbaum will be held Friday, May 30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John''s United Church of Christ with Pastor Greg Felder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rosenbaum family will receive family and friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Serving as pallbearers are Harry Sanders, Bob Bailey, Zeb Heckmann, Dennis J. Rosenbaum, John Valdez, and Franciso Castillo. Memorials may be directed to the St. John United Church of Christ Building Fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
