Lillie Ann Blum, 70, of Brenham, wife of Vernon C. Blum, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 in Trinity Medical Center. She was born July 25, 1935 in Galena Park, TX to James Wesley & Pansy Lovett Daniels Brummett. On February 17, 1953, Lillie Ann married Vernon C. Blum in Jacinto City. She was a homemaker, a member of the Bluebonnet Club, a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Women s Circle. Survivors include her husband: Vernon C. Blum of Brenham; daughters & sons-in-law: Anna & Rex Herrington of College Station and Helen & Randy Schulte of Greenvine; son & daughter-in-law: Richard & Rosa Blum of Burton. She is also survived by her brother and sisters-in-law: Kenneth & Edith Brummett of Ocean Spring, Mississippi, Goleta Brummett of Goodrich and Violet Brummett of Channelview. She is also survived by her sister and brothers-in-law: Beverly & Carlos Cardenas of New Caney and Tommy Minchew of Splendora. She is survived by her grandchildren: Rachel Blum, Rebecca Blum, Dale Herrington, Ben Herrington, Joshua Herrington, Stacy Schulte, Stephanie Schulte and Jeremy Schulte. Two great-grandchildren also survive, Xavier Morgan and Damien Tyrone Ty Gilmon, Jr.. Lillie Ann was preceded in death by her parents: James & Pansy Brummett; a son, Vernon C. Blum, Jr.; her brothers and sisters-in-law: George & Polly Brummett, James Brummett, Lee Vert Brummett, W.B. Brummett, Phillip & Pat Brummett and J.T. Brummett, and by her sisters and brother-in-law: Vera Mae & Sam Parker and Betty Minchew. The family will receive callers in Memorial Oaks Chapel on Friday evening between 6 o clock and 8 o clock. The funeral service will be held in Zion Lutheran Church at Zionsville on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 3 o clock in the afternoon. Pastor David Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Rachel Blum, Drew Robertson, Rebecca Blum, Dale Herrington, Ben Herrington, Joshua Herrington, Stacy Schulte, Stephanie Schulte, and Jeremy Schulte Memorial contributions may be given to Zion Lutheran Church or to a favorite charity.
