Lillie Annie Schulz Glaesmann, 95, of Brenham, died Jan. 23, 2005, in Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center in Brenham. Mrs. Glaesmann was born May 27, 1909, in Burton, Washington County, TX, to Emil and Hilda Brauner Schulz. She was baptized July 11, 1909, in St. John s United Church of Christ in Burton by Rev. H.L. Schulz and was confirmed April 13, 1924, in the same church by Rev. Crusius. Mrs. Glaesmann was educated in Burton schools. On Dec. 12, 1929, she was married to Edmund Glaesmann in St. John s United Church of Christ by Pastor Adolph Walton.Mrs. Glaesmann was a homemaker. Survivors include her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, August and Mary Pahmiyer of Brenham; special niece and nephew and caregivers, Janet and Paul Barnett of Brenham; and numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Glaesmann, on Jan. 21, 1977; sisters, Emma Bethke and Ella Pahmiyer; and brothers, Willie Schulz, Sr., Otto Schulz, Alfred Schulz, Emil Schulz and Louis Schulz. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, in Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Glen Schoeneberg officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. The family will receive visitors from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Pallbearers will be Paul Barnett, Jason Barnett, Ervin Schulz, Carl Weedon, Waldemar Jack Schramm and Paul Kenjura. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St. in Brenham.
