Lillie Hahn

Lillie Hahn, 99, of Brenham, passed away October 23, 2008 in Brenham Rest Home. Lillie was born September 14, 1909 in Brenham to Ernest and Rosena Boortz Hahn. She was baptized November 14, 1909 and confirmed April 5, 1925, both at St. John''s Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill. She was educated in the Live Oak Hill School. Survivors include nieces Vivian Leedy; Patricia Schroeder and husband Dennis, and Sue Wernecke and husband Dr. Robert Wernecke, brother-in-law, Wilbert Holdt, as well as many great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Esther Ehlert and husband, Albert Ehlert II; Margie Holdt, and a nephew Albert Sonny Ehlert and wife Geneva Funeral services for Lillie Hahn will be held Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John''s Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill, with Pastor David Hansen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Floyd Grebe, Austin Leedy, Dennis Schroeder, Dr. Robert Wernecke, Wayne Ehlert, and Clarence Witt. Gilbert Spinn is an honorary pallbearer. Memorials may be directed to St. John''s Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
