Lillie Roehling Perkins, 90, of Brenham, died October 31, 2005, in Trinity Care Center in Brenham. Ms. Perkins was born Nov. 10, 1914, in Washington County, Texas, to Fritz and Laura Jaster Roehling. She was baptized Jan. 3, 1915, in Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville and was confirmed March 24, 1929, in the same church. On March 2, 1940, she was married to Noble Perkins in Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville. Ms. Perkins was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville and was a homemaker. Survivors include her niece, Joyce Pelkemeyer Meyer and husband Calvin of Brenham; and nephews, Raymond Drews and wife Dee, Douglas Roehling and wife Bernice and Larry Roehling, all of Brenham. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Noble Perkins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorena and Ed Drews and Welma and Theo Pelkemeyer; and brother and sister-in-law, Gus and Gerline Roehling. The family will receive visitors from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. A family graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2 at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Zionsville. Pallbearers will be Douglas Roehling, Larry Roehling, Raymond Drews, Calvin Meyer, Darrell Meyer, Mike Davis, Michael Roehling and Derek Krause. Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
