Linda Clay

Linda Helen Clay, 59, of Brenham, died August 26, 2013, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Visitation with the Clay family will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 29 at Independence Cemetery. Mrs. Clay was born November 6, 1953, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to George Howard and Julie Inez Gilliland Willhite. She enjoyed watching talk shows on TV, being with her family and doing arts and crafts. She also loved shopping, not buying a lot but just looking for the specials. Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Clay of Brenham; daughters, Hayley Osburn of Brenham, Tavia Kuecker and husband Brad of Brenham and Katherine Vela of Dallas; mother, Julie Willhite of Humble; brother, John Willhite of Humble; and sister, Jan Willhite of Humble; grandchildren, Kourtney Evans of Brenham and Kailyn Evans of Montgomery; and her beloved dog, Buddy.
