Linda Louise Werner

Linda Louise Werner, 70, of Sargent, TX, died on December 17, 2023.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 22, 2023 at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville, TX with Rev. Corby Brizendine officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville.

Linda was born on December 8, 1953 in Brenham, TX to Jewel Malkey and Dave F. Eldridge Jr. She married her husband, Robert Eugene Werner, on March 4, 1971 in Houston, TX.

Linda loved to be with her family. She loved to go fishing, and crocheting. She loved her puppies very much. Her grandchildren were very important to her. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays and liked to cook.

Linda is survived by her husband, Robert Werner of Sargent, TX; sons, Chris Werner of Sargent, TX, and Russell Werner of Manvel, TX; brothers, David Eldridge of Belton, TX, and Robert Eldridge of Brenham, TX; sisters, Lucille Roebuck of Spring, TX, Roylean Faust of Cameron, TX; and Jarrell Dean Bates of Calvert, TX; grandchildren, Mason Werner, Zachary Werner, and Grace Werner.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Hunter Hoke, Blake Rosenbaum, Brett Diaz, Robbie Eldridge, Dustin Heidbreder and Joseph Leiva. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Werner and Mason Werner.
