Lionel Salgado

Lionel Uriostegul Salgado, 36, died August 2, 2016 in Brenham.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, August 8, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Father James Deaconson, Officiant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Memorial Oaks Chapel Saturday, Aug. 6 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Then visitation will be at the family residence, 5920 Green Meadows Ln., Brenham, from 4:00 p.m. Saturday until 11:00 a.m. Sunday. He will lie in state at Memorial Oaks Chapel Sunday from noon until 8:00 p.m. On Monday he will be taken to St. Mary's Catholic Church at 8:30 a.m. to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Lionel Uriostegul Salgado was born January 26, 1980 in Mexico. He was co-owner of Dan's Meat Market in Brenham.

Survivors include parents Marcelina Uriostegul and Eliseo Salgado of Brenham; his wife, Yasmin Garcia; sons Lionel Salgado, Jr., and America Salgado; brothers and sisters-in-law Luiz and Melda Salgado; Francisco and Monica Salgado; Rafael and Marlen Salgado; Lorenzo Salgado and Eliseo and Maria Salgado; sisters Maria Salgado and husband, Alex Aguilar; Maria Del Carmen and husband Aregorio Rodriguez, Isabel Salgado and husband Victor Carrillo, and Norma Salgado.

Also surviving are nieces and nephews Bonnie Cortez, Rene Rodriguez, Arturo Rodriguez, Michael Salgado, Jessica Salgado, Maria Rodriguez, Norma Salgado, Jonathan Salgado, Cristian Salgado, Javier Rodriguez, Alexander and Wilmer Aguilar.

Serving as pallbearers are Lorenzo Salgado, Lionel Salgado, Jr., Rafael Salgado, Eliseo Salgado, Cristian Salgado, Alex Aguilar, Ramiro Ocampo, Victor Carrillo, Luis Antonez, Gregorio Rodriguez, Javier Rodriguez, Arturo Rodriguez, Rene Rodriguez, Jonathan Salgado, Jerry Salgado, Victor Cortez, Michael Salgado, Francisco Salgado, and Alex Aguilar, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are Luis Salgado, Lorenzo Salgado, Lionel Salgado, Jr., Rafael Salgado, Eliseo Salgado, Luis Antonez, Jonathan Salgado, Alex Aguilar, and Jerry Salgado.
